Choose the background pattern and colours of the Stack Guard screen, and whether the "how it works" explainers show on each tab.

What it does

Background Pattern: nine patterns for the area behind the panels, from Solid to Circuit Trace.

Canvas Colours: the base colour, the pattern colour and its strength, and whether the pattern gently moves.

Show help explainers: the fold-out boxes that explain features on each tab. Turn them off once your team knows the screens.

Set it up

  1. Go to the Appearance tab.
  2. Pick a pattern and colours. The Canvas Preview in the side panel shows the result before you save.
  3. Switch Show help explainers on or off.
  4. Click Save Changes. Restore Defaults brings back the original look.

Good to know

These settings change only how the Stack Guard screen looks to you and your team. Visitors never see them.

The pattern stays still on devices set to reduce motion.

Stack Guard uses one dark theme. A compact density option and login page branding are on the roadmap.

Appearance settings are in every plan and need full access to Stack Guard.

How it works, for developers
  • Settings: smg_background_pattern, smg_bg_base_color_dark, smg_bg_pattern_color_dark, smg_bg_animation_enabled, smg_info_boxes_visibility (show or hide).
  • The pattern is drawn with CSS in the browser; no images are loaded.
