White label

For agencies: store your company details and logo so client-facing parts of Stack Guard carry your brand. Today every email Stack Guard sends carries your brand.

What it does

The White Label section holds your Company name, Company website, Support email and Company logo, plus a Plugin name and Plugin logo.

Every email Stack Guard sends uses your brand: the Plugin name (or the company name if that is empty) replaces Stack Guard, the company logo replaces the Stack Guard logo, and the company name and website go in the footer. Use a PNG or JPG logo; mail apps do not show SVG, so an SVG logo is replaced by the name in text.

Replies to these emails go to your Support email. The plugin logo is saved for a later update and is not shown anywhere yet; the screen says so beside the field.

Why it matters

Clients trust alerts that come from the agency they know. Branded emails also look less like spam.

Set it up

  1. Go to the Appearance tab, section White label.
  2. Fill in your company details and upload your logo.
  3. Click Save Changes, then send a test email from the Notifications tab to see the logo.

Good to know

Using your name and logo across the Stack Guard screen, and branding the login page, are on the roadmap.

Logos are not included in settings exports; the text fields are.

Which plan includes it

White label is part of the Agency plan.

How it works, for developers
  • Settings: smg_whitelabel_company_name and the other smg_whitelabel_* options. Emails read them through SMG_Email::brand(), only on Agency plans and only once a plugin or company name is set.
  • smg_whitelabel_company_logo and smg_whitelabel_plugin_logo are left out of settings exports because they point at media on one site.
