What a white label WordPress security plugin should do for an agency

Clients trust alerts that come from the agency they know. Branded emails look less like spam, remind clients that someone is watching their site, and keep the relationship with you instead of a plugin vendor.

Stack Guard Agency is built for that. Today the branding covers every email the plugin sends. More is coming soon, and this page says which is which.

What Stack Guard Agency white labels today

On the Appearance tab, the White Label section holds your company name, company website, support email and company logo, plus a plugin name and plugin logo. Once a plugin or company name is set on an Agency plan, every email Stack Guard sends uses your brand.

  • Your plugin name, or your company name if that is empty, replaces Stack Guard in every email.
  • Your company logo replaces the Stack Guard logo. Use a PNG or JPG, because mail apps such as Gmail and Outlook do not show SVG and would show your name in text instead.
  • Your company name and website appear in the footer.
  • Replies go to your support email.
  • This covers alerts, digests, two-factor codes, unlock links and password reminders.
  • Send a test email from the Notifications tab to see the logo.

Coming soon, and what is not white labelled yet

A branded sign-in page and client-ready security reports are coming soon for Agency plans. So is using your name and logo across the Stack Guard screen in wp-admin. The plugin logo field is saved for that update and is not shown anywhere yet. A custom sender name and address for emails is also coming soon.

Until then, the plugin screen in wp-admin is not renamed, so a client who opens it will see Stack Guard. If you need the plugin hidden from clients, you can set them to View Only or Hidden with Stack Guard's access levels.

Run Stack Guard across your client sites

White label is part of the Agency plan, which includes everything in Pro. Agency starts with Agency 25 at $245 a year. Pro 5 does not include white label.

Agencies get more from the rest of the plugin too. Export your settings from one well-tuned site and import them on the next, with secrets, the licence, the login slug and the allow list left out. Daily and weekly digests give clients a regular summary. The optional protected by badge, free on every plan and with your own wording and no link on Pro and Agency, makes your work visible on the client site itself.

Questions

White label WordPress security plugin: questions

What can I white label in Stack Guard today?

Your plugin name, company name, website and logo on every email Stack Guard sends. The admin canvas colors can be customised on every plan.

Which plan includes a white label WordPress security plugin?

White label is an Agency feature, from Agency 25 at $245 a year. Pro 5 does not include it.

Can clients still see Stack Guard in their admin?

Yes, the plugin screen itself is not renamed yet. White label across the admin is coming soon. You can set client administrators to View Only or Hidden in the meantime.

Will clients see Stack Guard in the emails?

Not once you set a plugin or company name on an Agency plan. Your name replaces Stack Guard, your logo replaces ours, and your name and website go in the footer, with replies going to your support email.

Can I copy my setup to every client site?

Yes. Export Settings from one site and Import Settings on the next. Secrets and site-specific values such as the licence, login slug, allow list and logos are never exported, so set those per site.

Can I show a protected by badge with my own wording?

Yes on Pro and Agency. The badge is free on every plan, and Pro and Agency can change the wording, for example to Secured by, and show it without a link.
